What is Natural Gender Selection (swaying) anyway?

A lot of people wonder what this whole “swaying” thing is all about. Is it real? Is it possible to select your baby’s gender naturally? Is this atomic sagebrush person some sort of charlatan (hint – charlatans don’t typically give massive amounts of information away for free!) So I wrote a little introductory essay about Natural Gender Selection, or “swaying” as most call it.

6 Things You Probably Believe About Natural Gender Selection (That Aren’t True!) Updated 10-3-2022

1)That it’s POSSIBLE!

We were all taught in school that your baby’s gender is just sheer luck and that it’s the male alone that determines gender. X or Y, flip of the coin. Newer research has clearly indicated that this isn’t the case. On Gender Dreaming, the forum where atomic sagebrush has been working with swayers since 2010, we are getting between 65-75% depending on compliance and sway tactics used. These success rates are even in people who have had several of the opposite gender already. Some years, our success rates have even approached 80%. Using only some easy-to-make changes in diet and lifestyle that anyone can do (ANYONE, even you!) you can drastically raise your chances of conceiving a baby of your desired gender.

It’s possible for EVERYONE, too. After having 2, 3, 4 or more of the same gender in a row, many people are told by friends, family, even misinformed medical professionals that they may as well give up, they have little to no chance of conceiving the opposite gender. However, the best science on the planet proves clearly that it is possible for all couples to make both boys and girls. We have seen women get their dream baby even after 8 in a row of the other gender! 2)That it’s EASY!

Natural gender selection info is everywhere on the web. In most cases, sites are giving advice based on dubious science that is 40-50 years old and has been debunked by newer technology. Some sites are even embracing magic and mysticism. The techniques that they employ are so difficult and invasive that many people are afraid to try them. Some have terrible side effects, even dangerous ones. When people do attempt these difficult, dangerous, and outdated methods, they often find them impossible to do properly and give up. Many others find they cannot get pregnant at all while using them.

3)That it is SAFE!

People have developed medical problems so severe using these dangerous methods that they have ended up in the hospital. atomic sagebrush always puts safety first and every aspect of her natural gender selection methods are based on sound medical and nutritional advice from sources like the World Health Organization, the American Food and Drug Association, and WebMD.

4)Timing doesn’t work! But it’s ok to use it.

The most well-known method of natural gender selection is Shettles timing. But Dr. Shettles developed this method of gender selection over 60 years ago using very limited technology. It has since been thoroughly debunked by new and improved technology and dozens of studies. Researchers agree that X and Y sperm live an equal length of time, they’re about the same size, they swim the same speed, and about 50-50 boys and girls have been proven to be conceived every fertile day of the cycle. Timing doesn’t work!

But if you have your heart set on timing, that is ok! Instead of sticking with old debunked methods like having sex on a particular cycle day (which doesn’t help if you ovulate a different day than “the average person”, atomic sagebrush uses the newest techniques available to pinpoint ovulation, to incorporate timing into an overall gender selection plan that is easy to do and does not decrease odds of conception nearly as much as the old outdated timing methods did. 5)Mineral Diets and pH techniques don’t work either.

While maternal diet does sway, it is not due to mineral levels. It is not necessary to take massive doses of minerals that may cause serious harm to your health, or strictly limit intake of other minerals that your body needs to survive, in order to conceive a baby of a certain gender. It is not necessary to subject you or your partner to a terribly restrictive diet for months to get the baby you dreamed of. atomic’s diets for conceiving boys (High Everything) and girls (Low Everything) are easy to stick to, effective, and are safe for both you and the health of your unborn child. The Low Everything and High Everything Diets are based on recommendations from the World Health Organization and reproductive endocrinologists for a healthy pre-pregnancy diet for women of childbearing age. If you believe in mineral diets however, it is absolutely possible to incorporate the idea into a healthy and safe diet and atomic sagebrush can show you how to do that.

Douching with caustic, unsanitary solutions that cut odds of conception to virtually nil, is not a tactic atomic sagebrush recommends. Medical doctors all agree, douching is a terrible idea that should be avoided. For those who believe in pH techniques, we have safe, sanitary, and medically approved ways to alter pH levels that do not cut odds of conception much and most importantly, are safe. Most of our members on Gender Dreaming got pregnant within 3 months, without the side effects and risks of the douching methods employed by the other natural gender selection sites.

6)That it isn’t foolproof.

Unfortunately, there are unscrupulous individuals out there who make promises to people that are simply untrue. They charge hundreds or even thousands of dollars for natural gender selection methods with a promise of 95-99% success rates. They may call themselves doctors or use scientific language and studies to seem like experts, but it makes no difference, they are not being honest. When something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Natural gender selection can increase your odds of conceiving a baby of a certain gender, but it is not a guarantee. The only way to get a guarantee of gender is by use of IVF. But you can still raise your chances of a natural conception of your desired gender considerably, and you can do that safely, sanely, and quickly!
